EVident Battery EVB-01 is a great vibration sensor for engineers. Setup is quick, connectivity is reliable, and the high sampling rate (~6.6 kHz) captures detailed vibration signals many sensors miss. Ideal for R&D, machine diagnostics, and structural testing. Highly recommended.
High performance sensor and easy to use. I used it for vibration diagnostics of HVAC systems. It works with both phone and laptop well. Technical support is also helpful.
The sensor is very easy to use and get data from. The adjustable sample rate and other configuration changes are easy and very intuitive. Battery power is awesome as well. This saved a bunch of time trying to wire up and power, some other devices which might work but not as well or as simple. The web portal is cool too, though you don’t have to use it since downloading to your local device, wirelessly is just as easy. No complaints about this logger!
It does what I hoped it would. However, it’s a little confusing to get the program working. It would’ve been great if you actually had an app for the phone. Right now I find the software kludgy. It does work and I had a difficult time getting it working but support emailed me answers to my questions promptly which did fix my problem. Most likely, operator error.
